EverNote Selected By Lexar as Featured Application For PowerToGo Platform
Lexar JumpDrive Users Gain On-The-Go Capturing and Searching of All Types of Personal Information from Web Clips to Handwritten Notes
Sunnyvale, Calif., July 27, 2006 – EverNote® Corporation today announced that Lexar Media, Inc., a leader in advanced digital media and accessories, will ship EverNote software on JumpDrive® USB flash drives pre-installed with the PowerToGoTM mobile software platform.
Lexar’s PowerToGo software provides a new portable platform that enables customers to install and run many standard Windows applications from select Lexar JumpDrive products, providing a solution to enable applications on-the-go that can be run from virtually anywhere. The PowerToGo platform is a personal, portable working environment, carried conveniently on a removable drive, and ready to be used on virtually any PC a customer plugs into.
EverNote software makes it easy to capture, store and quickly access information, such as typed and handwritten notes, web clips, emails, phone messages, addresses, passwords, brainstorms, sketches, photos and documents. Coupled with the PowerToGo platform, it provides a comprehensive portable application for capturing, keeping and searching information at any time on any Windows computer. The advanced version EverNote Plus, which is also available on the PowerToGo Platform and has to be purchased separately, adds handwriting recognition and other superior digital ink features.
